We’re a curious bunch. Curiosity is in our DNA. Being curious means we boldly go where others fear to tread. By digging deeper, by questioning further, by unearthing new insights we give our clients a different and valuable perspective on things.

It’s an enlightening journey. We welcome the twists and turns, and healthy debates peppered along the way. Our curious streak brings brands to life. Gets them talking, and makes sure they’re heard…above all that noise.

We believe developing a strategy is just as creative as the creative output itself. In fact, that’s where our creative process starts…with the strategy. We dig deep to understand the subtleties of what’s needed to get a brand talking with resonance. We eschew average off-the-shelf solutions and thin and fragile thinking. A brand will never be heard if you don’t. 

 

 

A FRESH PERSPECTIVE

We approach existing thinking from a fresh perspective. Sometimes we commission research; often we do our own – we talk to people, we look at what’s going on inside and outside of the business. We challenge people to reassess their take on the world. We help clients to re-evaluate answers to questions that they thought they knew already. It’s only when you understand what the conventions are that it is possible to break them. And we don’t stop until we completely and utterly get our clients and their business. 

 

A VIBRANT STRATEGY

Our approach turns strategic thinking into something that’s vibrant and inspirational. Only then can this thinking be used as a springboard for the creative process, and drive new and original creative ideas. Grounded absolutely in a deep understanding of the business, but looking upwards and forwards too, we plan out what the brand needs to become. Does it need redefining? Or a little refreshing? With a dynamic strategy in place, we can deliver a creative solution that not only delivers against a particular brief or objective, but also propels the brand forward in the process.

We have processes, methodologies and tools we use – who doesn’t? But what is it that turns ‘same old’ thinking into innovative thinking? Our experience, our sense of curiosity, our drive to dig beneath the surface, motivated by our desire to create outstanding creative solutions for our clients.

It’s about knowing what the right questions are and then having the breadth and depth of experience to see things differently, understand the implications of some of the answers, recognise the issues, spot when something isn’t quite right. Instinctively. Funnily enough we never tire of what we do. We get a strange kick and constant delight from unpicking brand issues and getting to the very crux of the matter. 

WHERE
THIS LEADS

Sometimes this involves getting clients to see the value of what they have already when they can’t see the potential in what they’ve got and help them express and communicate it better.

Other times we help clients to zig when everyone else is zagging. Helping them navigate in a slightly different direction to create a sense of differentiation.

And sometimes we help clients to form a view about where they want to go from scratch, especially if there’s a sense that the business needs to shift its focus and positioning very significantly.
