Renovata are well known in the market for executive search, delivering exceptional talent to their partners in the internet and tech sectors. But this doesn’t make them stand out in the sea of blue that defines this industry. They asked us to dig deeper, develop their brand strategy and design the way they should talk, look and feel.
We set ourselves the task of defining the one thing that Renovata does that other firms can’t. We discovered what makes them truly flourish as a brand. They thrive on handling the most complex, top executive searches. However intricate, however challenging, Renovata are masters of complexity. They can change the course of business through the transformational talent they find.
We developed the line they live by: Exceptional searches, exceptional finds. This is integrated into everything they do.
With the positioning in place, we developed a new brand identity staying far away from blue! Charcoal to feel premium and confident with accents of yellow. We looked at how we could emphasise the search function of what they do. We created an ownable symbol for their logo from the search icon. And a line system derived from the look of search boxes. Iconography was also designed
to add charm to messaging.
The new identity was brought to life with a new website, brand guidelines, signage and presentation templates. We successfully designed a brand that makes the competition seem over-marketed and behind the times.
